In enclosed spaces, the flow of fresh air is often a challenge. In the absence of continuous circulation of fresh air, contaminants often build up in any indoor space. High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters are extremely efficient at filtering these contaminants, such as human-generated infectious aerosols (99.97% or better) – which includes particulates as small or smaller the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Carrier Opticlean employs a pre-filter followed by a HEPA filter. As the air in your space is continuously recycled through these filters – as frequently as six times each hour – all viruses and bacteria that might be present in the air are captured and isolated.
