TOSHIBA AIRCONDITIONING WINS CLIMATE CONTROL AWARD…AGAIN

The sixth edition of prestigious Climate Control Awards function was held on November 21, 2016 at Al Yasat Ballroom, Al Murooj Rotana, Dubai.
Toshiba Air conditioning won the Manufacturer of the Year Award for Toshiba VRF, SMMSe in the Standalone DX systems category, including VRF for the second time since the institution of the awards. The cutting edge technologies and innovative features in SMMSe combined deliver one of the most energy efficient units in the market. The award was a formal recognition of the same by a highly qualified panel of experts.
Toshiba Air conditioning aims to build on the success of SMMSe and further contribute towards sustainability through innovations in technology & processes to make the world a better & greener place. The objectives of the award was to recognize Middle East HVACR and allied organizations and personalities that show a strong commitment to socio-economic and sustainable development goals, through their initiatives, best practices and exertions.
Ajit Chandraraj, General Manager RLC (AHI Carrier) was enthusiastic on winning the award and announced that it is yet another milestone in our conquest to achieve leadership position in Middle East. Right from achieving No1 position in VRF sales in Qatar last year to partnering on Sustainable developments and Pilot projects like Masdar city, Toshiba will lead from the front.
Jafar Imam, Deputy General Manager – MEA (AHI Carrier) noted that Toshiba Air conditioning is well on track and the vision of doubling sales growth may happen even ahead of 2020. This award is another testament to the core values and focus on technology and Innovation which runs in Toshiba’s DNA.
The Climate Control Awards have the support of a distinguished jury, comprising of public and private-sector personalities with strong exposure to multiple aspects of the HVACR and allied industries. The awards also have the backing of a third-party auditing firm, which play the role of monitoring and guiding the entire process.
