TOSHIBA MIDDLE EAST DEALERS’ MEET – BARCELONA, SPAIN (SEPTEMBER 24 TO 28, 2016)
The annual Toshiba Middle East Dealers’ Meet was organized by AHI Carrier in Barcelona, from September 24th to 28th, 2016.
Kondo-san (President, TCC) inaugurated the event which was attended by all the ME Toshiba distribution partners, AHI Carrier team & Toshiba management from Japan, Thailand & EMEA.
Dealers Conference was held on the opening day, 25th September. Kondo-san set the tone with his keynote address. Toshiba team presented the product road map for Middle East market. Toshiba now has a full product basket to cater the requirements from Residential, Light Commercial, VRF and Package units. Each product has its own unique selling point and competitive features. The conference was followed by business review meetings with individual partners to discuss and plan the business strategy for each specific market.
Toshiba management emphasized on a go-to-market strategy with clear focus on each product line and segments like B2B, B2C, etc. With such focused strategy & planning, the ME team is confident of achieving ‘Vision 2020’ of doubling the sales.
A gala dinner followed on the night of September 25th, where performances for the past year were awarded for below categories with trophies:

VRF Sales Growth in Strategic Projects: Mannai Trading Co., Qatar
Best Residential Sales: Bahwan Electronics Co., Oman
On the subsequent days the attendees enjoyed a range of exciting & novel team building activities. They also had the opportunity to explore Barcelona on a sightseeing tour.
