High‑efficiency fan coil unit featuring brushless DC (BLDC) motor technology, delivering significant energy savings, superior comfort, ultra‑quiet operation, and intelligent control for green and comfort‑focused buildings.
The Carrier 42CY uses a stepless BLDC motor control strategy, allowing continuous airflow modulation to precisely match load demand, ensuring high comfort and low energy consumption.
The unit supports both Carrier THT420 series LCD thermostats and standard 0–10 V thermostats, giving designers and end users flexibility in control selection.
With a MODBUS controller and RS485 communication, the 42CY integrates easily into building automation systems, enabling centralized monitoring, group control, and energy optimization.
Built‑in electronic protections ensure stable and safe operation under varying electrical and load conditions, contributing to long‑term reliability.
