The Carrier Comfort Controller 6400 (Model CEPL130201-02) offers advanced HVAC control and monitoring, tailored to meet the demands of modern commercial buildings. With capabilities for both stand-alone operation and integration into the Carrier Comfort Network® (CCN), this microprocessor-based controller delivers precision, flexibility and scalability. The Comfort Controller 6400 supports up to 16 onboard input/output points, expandable to 64 with additional modules, making it ideal for managing diverse systems like chillers, air handlers, pumps, lighting and more. With built-in energy management, pre-engineered control routines and seamless operator interfaces, this controller enables reduced energy costs, easier maintenance and unmatched system reliability.
Provides stand‑alone control and monitoring of up to 16 field points, expandable to 64 points.
Includes a 1600 compatibility mode, allowing direct replacement of legacy 1600 controllers.
Supports firmware updates via FieldLoader.
Compatible with i‑Vu®, ComfortVIEW™, and Network Service Tool (Version V and later).
Three front‑mounted LEDs indicate:
Red: Processor status
Yellow: CCN communication bus status
Green: I/O module communication status
Local connection for LID and CCN.
Supports total facilities management when linked to a Carrier Comfort Network (CCN).
Enables data transfer between system elements and broadcast of system values such as:
Outdoor air temperature
Outdoor air humidity
Time of day
It is suitable for stand‑alone HVAC control, energy management, and facility‑level monitoring applications.
