High performance flat-plate collector with automatic ThermProtect overheating protection
The Vitosol 200‑FM is designed to operate as part of a complete Viessmann solar thermal system, including solar controllers, pump stations, and DHW or buffer cylinders.
The collector works with an external solar controller that manages temperature differentials, circulation pump operation, and heat transfer to the solar cylinder.
The patented ThermProtect absorber layer provides built‑in protection against overheating by automatically limiting energy absorption once the storage tank is fully heated, reducing the need for complex control strategies.
