Vitosol 100-FM

High performance Vitosol 100-FM flat-plate collectors are the perfect addition to any heating system. With an individual absorber area of 2.3 m², solar collectors can be effectively matched to any energy demand. On average, they can replace up to 60 percent of the energy that would otherwise be required each year for DHW heating, and contribute to central heating backup. When used in conjunction with a condensing boiler, free solar energy can help you reduce your annual energy consumption for heating and DHW by over one third.

What is ThermProtect technology?

ThermProtect is a patented absorber coating that:

Automatically reduces heat absorption at high temperatures
Prevents overheating and steam formation
Improves system safety and reliability

How does ThermProtect work?

When the collector reaches around 75°C, the absorber structure changes to increase heat emission, lowering the collector temperature. When it cools down, it returns to normal high-efficiency operation.

Can multiple collectors be connected together?

Yes. Up to 12 collectors can be linked in parallel for larger residential or commercial systems.

Is the system resistant to weather and corrosion?

Yes. The collector uses:

Impact-resistant solar glass
Corrosion-resistant aluminium frame
Sealed construction
Ensuring long-term durability.
