The Toshiba VN‑U_SY‑E IDU Side Air Heat Exchangers are engineered to enhance VRF system versatility by enabling efficient heat exchange between indoor air and the refrigerant circuit. Designed for seamless integration with Toshiba VRF indoor units, they support advanced system configurations while maintaining reliability, efficiency, and compact installation.

Features

Energy Savings

Recovers air suction heat and humidity up to 75% and transfers them to the outdoor fresh air. The unit has the ability to automatically change the operation mode of the airflow between heat exchanger mode (energy recovery) to normal standard ventilation mode (free cooling), based on the outdoor temperatures. Free cooling - Provides fresh outdoor cool air to reduce the indoor air temperature, when the outdoor temperature is lower than the indoor air-conditioned temperature.

Multi Application

9 models available with air fl ow ranges from 150 to 2000 m3 /h. Air balance volume rate can be varied to suit the usage environment and location. Version with humidifi er is available for applications where humidity levels need to be controlled.

Fully Integrated

Air conditioners and heat exchangers are controlled with the same main bus system (TCC-LINK).

Compact & Modular Design

Space‑saving construction allows installation in constrained indoor environments.

VRF System Integration

Designed to operate as part of the Toshiba VRF indoor unit architecture, following standard VRF control logic.

Seamless Indoor Unit Coordination

Heat exchanger operation is managed through the connected VRF indoor unit, with no standalone control required.

Compatible with Toshiba VRF Controllers

Fully compatible with Toshiba VRF wired and centralized controllers used in the system.

Stable & Synchronized Operation

Integrated into the VRF refrigerant circuit to ensure coordinated performance with compressors, electronic expansion valves, and indoor fans.
