OptiFlex™ Virtual Integrator – OFVI

Software‑based, high‑capacity integration for multi‑system building automation
The OptiFlex™ Virtual Integrator (OFVI) delivers large‑scale, protocol‑agnostic integration of third‑party building systems without the need for physical gateways, providing centralized visibility, diagnostics, and analytics through the WebCTRL® platform.

OptiFlex™ Virtual Integrator - OFVI

The Automated Logic® OptiFlex™ virtual integrator platform connects and monitors large volumes of data across various building systems, sub-systems, and devices - regardless of manufacturer. That data is then seamlessly integrated into the WebCTRL® building automation system, allowing operators to monitor all of their building systems through a single, web-based user interface.

The virtual integrator platform runs on a single computer server (sold separately), and monitors up to 50,000 BACnet™ / IP, SNMP and/or Modbus® TCP/IP points.

OptiFlex™ Virtual Integrator – OFVI

Simultaneous Multi‑Protocol Integration

Supports concurrent integration of BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP data, whether devices are directly IP‑connected or routed to IP networks.

Highly Scalable Licensing Model

Uses a scalable licensing architecture that allows integration points to be added as project needs evolve, supporting up to 50,000 total points.

Pluggable Protocol Technology

Enables support for new protocols as additional third‑party devices or systems are introduced, protecting long‑term system flexibility.

No Physical Gateways Required

Eliminates the need for hardware gateways, saving wall and panel space while reducing installation complexity.

Integration Scope

Supports simultaneous integration of BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP data sources within a single software instance.

Integration Capacity

Supports scalable licensing up to 50,000 integration points, allowing growth without additional hardware.

Deployment Model

The solution is software‑based and installs on a single server, eliminating the need for physical integration gateways.

Protocol Expansion

Uses pluggable protocol modules to support future third‑party protocols as system requirements change.
